An online resource that provides immediate access to the wealth of plant specimen data held by Australian herbaria. AVH is a collaborative project of the Commonwealth, state and territory herbaria, under the auspices of the Council of Heads of Australasian Herbaria (CHAH).

Provide the contents of the four- volume, 4th edition Flora of South Australia published in 1986 in the form of species fact sheets. This is supplemented by a Census of the State's Vascular Plants, which is now in its 5th edition, a plant species mapper, and access to identification tools as they become available.
